Services

Fees for services are due upon receipt of those services. Please be aware that herbs and supplements are not included in the price of an acupuncture treatment, and are generally not covered by insurance companies. Most insurance companies cover acupuncture treatments.

If you are planning to use your insurance for payment, your acupuncture benefits will need to be verified before your treatment. You are expected to pay full fee until insurance benefits and information regarding deductibles, copays, maximum number of visits, medical requirements, and percentage of coverage are all verified. Once this information is confirmed, we can bill your insurance accordingly. Please bring your insurance card for verification.

Cancelation, Missed Appointment Policy

I request that patients give advanced notice of canceling or rescheduling appointments. This allows me to schedule wait-listed patients or to allow room for new patients to fill the time slot.

I ask a minimum of 24 hours notice, (ideally 48hrs) from patients who wish to cancel or reschedule their appointments. Please be aware that if you miss your appointment or provide less than 24 hours notice to change your appointment, you will be charged a missed appointment fee to cover the loss. Certainly, family and personal emergencies come up, sudden, acute illness, traffic accidents and a mom’s labor starting are all exempt from this fee. For the protection of myself and other patients, please do NOT come in if your household is actively sick and fevering.
